Presentation of SEMICA

SEMICA SARL is a consulting firm specialising in the promotion and development of investments in the energy, mining, quarrying, gas and oil sectors in Africa. It organises professional and pan-African trade fairs for the energy, mining, gas and oil sectors. It provides consultancy support and helps to establish business relations in Africa. Its head office is in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

For the past ten years, the firm has organised the SEMICA (Salon International de l'Energie, des Mines et des Carrières) in Ouagadougou, helping to consolidate the promotion of Burkina Faso as a destination for international investors. This meeting place for African and international professionals involved in energy, mining, quarries and oil is now one of the continent's major international events. Professionals, participants and visitors come from all over the world, including Canada, Australia, the USA, Europe, Asia and, of course, African countries.

Its primary objectives are to promote and raise awareness of the mining, energy and hydrocarbons sectors, and more generally the extractive resources of the African continent, in order to attract investors.

In addition to its recognised expertise in Burkina Faso, the firm's services are in demand across several African countries, with projects successfully completed in Benin, Liberia and the Central African Republic, and projects underway in several other countries.

The firm is also a regular presence at the world's leading energy, mining and hydrocarbons events.

The firm is managed by a board of senior consultants with extensive experience in the mining, energy, diplomacy, events, governance and marketing sectors.
